The Clockwork Caper: A 5th Level Adventure for 5th Edition

Many years ago, a gnomish entrepreneur, inventor, and philanthropist named Gearwyn Cogglesworth developed a magical engine capable of lifting a ship up into the skies like a bird. Using this technology, he built the Crystal Cog Casino & Hotel, a vast six story flying airship designed to provide food, lodging, and exciting games to nobles and aristocrats from all across the world. This endeavor was quite successful, and now the "Cog", as it's often called, is on its 25th voyage. To celebrate, Gearwyn is hosting a tournament for the collectible card game Conquest, and the top prize to be awarded is the rare, almost mythical, Clockwork Eye. Granting its owner the ability to see into the future, the eye is coveted by many, and not just those invited aboard the Cog.

Scraddles Mc'Tavish, a rival of Gearwyn, seeks to ruin the old gnome by sabotaging his big tournament. To do this, he's sought out a crew of adventurers with flexible morals and a love of treasure to sneak aboard the Cog, steal the eye, and escape before anyone notices. Once they're ready, a little gnomish ingenuity will get them sky high and ready to undertake the heist of the century!
