The Black Death: An 11th Level Adventure for 5th Edition

The black dragon Rolgoth has recently made its lair in a flooded cavernous complex in the swamps south of the the village of Blackpool. Its mere presence has caused all the wells and water sources near the river to turn foul leaving the people little hope of a future there. Fearing some sort of sorcery has cursed his village, the mayor of Blackpool put out a call for adventurers to uncover the source of the fouling and end it. A group of adventurers arrived shortly thereafter and set out promising to restore the village's water supply. Days later, only one returned. He was badly injured, body burned by acid, and he was only able to utter two words before dying: Black Dragon. Knowing know what they face, the mayor gathered all the coin he could and put out a call for dragon slayers. He's offering 1,000 gp for the head of the dragon and the salvation of his poor village.
