Swamp of the Frogmen: A 1st Level Adventure for 5th Edition

The frogmen of the swamps have been more aggressive as of late. While they previously only showed hostility towards those who trespassed on their lands, they now venture out of the swamps and attack nearby villages and passing caravans. One such caravan was carrying a powerful magic item known as Truthseeker, and the frogmen, during a recent raid, stole the item. The merchant responsible for its transportation is now desperate to recover it before his patron learns of its disappearance. Unless someone can enter the swamps, track down the frogmen's camp, and recover the item, the merchant is sure to pay a terrible price for allowing the item to fall into such dangerous hands.
