Remember the Old Ways: A 3rd Level Adventure for 5th Edition

Many years ago, when the veil between our world and the Feylands was thinner, many temples existed to the lords of the various fey courts. Most of these temples have been destroyed or repurposed in the years that followed. Some, however, remained untouched and contained incredible power waiting for someone to unlock it. Recently, Archpriest Orom Boz of the temple of Zora, goddess of justice, has decreed that one such former temple be cleared of any remaining fey presence so it can be re-consecrated to Zora and provide for her followers. Unbeknownst to most, the temple hides a dark and powerful secret. Hidden and locked away in its depths is a force of unbridled power. If unleashed, it could destroy the temple and everything around it, rendering the site tainted for years to come. A green hag named Nell Bitterhand has become aware of the hidden artifact beneath the temple and seeks to acquire it for herself. To this end, she has disguised herself as a lowly follower of Zora and convinced Archpriest Orom of the importance of reclaiming the site. Now, a group of adventurers have been summoned to the Archpriest's office to take up the quest to clear out this heathen stronghold for the glory of Zora.
