Blood & Bone: A 10th Level Adventure for 5th Edition

The Darkmoore family have long stood as one of the prominent families in Valhenge. Members of the city council and owners of various businesses throughout the city, their presence has allowed the city to prosper. Unbeknownst to many, however, the Darkmoores practice blood magic, the source of their power and riches. They lead an elite cabal of dark worshippers from a temple hidden beneath their expansive manor. The patriarch of the family, Elias Darkmoore, has all but vanished from public view, preferring the dark chambers beneath his ancestral home. During a recent ritual, Elias managed to summon forth a blood golem, a creature of dark magic. It rampaged throughout the hidden temple killing all the cultists presence and transforming them into vicious undead. Elias himself fled to his chambers and barricaded himself in, fearful of what he made. Now, the golem soaks in the great blood pool in the depths of the temple, growing in power. Soon, it will be strong enough to break free of the magical bonds keeping it within the temple and be able to take its rampage to the streets above.
